The Radha Govinda Temple of Venice Beach, California has had a wonderful history since it’s inauguration in 2004 and last month has been no exception. Since the Badger festival, by Srila Gurudeva’s grace, we have seen many nice devotees coming to take part in a wonderful program of Hari Katha (4 classes daily), Harinam Sankirtan, book distribution and other community outreach programs. Many visitors, new and old have stopped by to relish our wonderful spiritual programs. I personally feel very inspired by the dedication, devotion and amazing service mood of all the devotees both living in the temple and the community at large.

After the Badger festival I felt intense sadness as it was Srila Gurudeva’s last festival with us. From start to finish it was an emotional experience like none-other. For 15 years we have lived for his visit and now that era is over.
So in the hopes of getting one last glimpse of Srila Gurudeva I hopped down to Venice for the last L.A. class. Srila Gurudeva didn’t speak much, but after all the Swamis had spoken he spoke a little ending on a very joyful note,

Cooks,Pujaris, Book & Prasadam distributors, Hari Nam Sankirtan addicts, etc.
How You can Participate:
Cook in our Prasadm business, Distribute books and Prasadam on the Venice Beach Boardwalk (3 streets from the temple) while doing Hari Nam Samkirtan, Pujari work, Kirtans at Yoga studios, Bhakti Yoga Club at UCLA College,
