Houston vegetarian cooking class
Our mission is to create a situation by which to engage people in using their senses in the service of Bhagavan and His devotees. Our ashram is located in a scenic location and with the presence of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath-ji, makes it a conducive atmosphere to host interested guests and explain to them the philosophical concepts behind our preparation of foodstuffs along with the practical application. Of course taste testing the final result is included.

Favorite Kitchree recipe
I've heard that it was said by Srila Swami Maharaja that if people were given food prepared with ghee they would give up meat. Generally I usually cook a simply kitchree, spicing it with cumin, coriander, hing, ginger, chillies, salt, and tumeric. Sometimes I like to mix half brown rice and half dhalia to make a more soupy kitchree. Any favorite kitchree recipesvout there to share?
