Sri Dhama Navadwipe Gurukula under Srila Gurdeva's guidance
To all Srila Gurudeva's sons and daughters.Â
This is The seva teams site of Srila Gurudeva's Gurukula, in The Holy Dham of Nabadwipa, West Bengal.
Ours is presently his only school on this ball we call Earth and it is very, very dear to him. It is his flagship of a fleet of more to come.
We started taking on students in July 2009 and we presently have 40 enrolled with over 200 applicants waiting in the wings. Srila Gurudeva wants this project to "Grow" so we are reaching out to his world-wide sanga as we are in dire need of funds, not only for our present operating costs but to facilitate Gurudeva's wishes for more students.
Our infrastructure is set to handle up to one hundred students and exploration to find facility to accommodate 200+ students is underway.
Our present curriculum covers the normal studies of reading, writing, arithmetic, computer training, English, and Bengali.
We incorporate, however, the Vedic view on all studies, culminating in their most important course, Gaudiya Vaisnavism.
This includes, but is not limited to, growing, cooking, offering bhoga, honoring and distributing prasadam daily, shastra studies, and Srila Gurudeva's book publication and distribution of the same.
When you see these beautiful, materially poor, but so spiritually fortunate children, you will weep, as we did as did Srila Gurudeva. That is why this project manifested because we could understand how dear it is to him.

The support of loving devotees such as yourselves to help care for the children of Navadwipe who belong to Sriman Mahaprabhu and His pure devotees such as our Srila Gurudeva... to turn their lives around by giving them an education and spiritual chance which would otherwise not be there.
How You can Participate:
Times are hard now and everyone is feeling the economic crunch but none more profoundly than the impoverished countries who as a result, increasing numbers of children are malnourished and deprived of an education. For the same price as a bottle of water in the West each day, you can bring hope and most of all spiritual life to the future of Navadwipe Dhama. By supporting this school you can make an investment in the future, the future of Navadwipe, of the mission of our Srila Gurudeva, and the lives of these children.
