News on Navadvipa Gurukula

News release,
To all Srila Gurudeva's sons and daughters.

Please visit the seva teams site of Srila Gurudeva's Gurukula, in The Holy Dham of Nabadwipa, West bengal.

Ours is presently his only school on this ball we call earth. It is very, very dear to him and it is his flagship of a fleet of more to come.

We started taking on students in July 2009. We presently have 40 enrolled and over 200 applicants waiting in the wings. Srila Gurudeva wants this project to "Grow".

We are in dire need of funds, not only for our present operating costs but to facilitate Srila Gurudeva's wishes for more students.

Our infrastructure is set to handle up to one hundred students.

Our present curriculum covers the normal reading, writing, arithmetic, Computers, English, and Bengali.

However, we incorporate the Vedic view on all studies, culminating in their most important course, Vaisnavism.

This includes, but is not limited to, growing, cooking, and offering bhoga, honoring and distributing Prasadam daily, Shastra studies, Gurudeva's book publication and distribution of the same.

When you see these beautiful, materially poor, but so spiritually fortunate children, you will weep, as we did. So did Srila Gurudeva. That is why this project manifested.
Just think of it,
