Ananda Dham Ashram (contemplative Gaudiya Ashram in the swiss mountains)

Since 3 years we have a contemplative Gaudiya vaishnava Ashram in the swiss alps. Very simple life (no electricity), to reach here one has to walk two hours up the mountains an a pilgrim path. Besides the temple proramm we keep silence some time every day.

We live very simple in the wonderful nature. There are mountains all around us and the devotees are completely for themselves (The next neighbour is more than 4 miles away). We have our own spring water and grow our own food.
Sri Sri Goura Gadadhara are the presiding deities here.

We don't charge any money - the Ashram is based on voluntary donations. We expect that the devotees take part at the temple programms. But there is a lot of time free for reading and chanting.

This ashram is dedicated to Srila Gurudeva. Many preachers from our Sangha came here.
