We need devotees who would be interested in becoming a penpal to an inmate, or more than one if you like. That service would entail writing letters, sharing the philosophy, sending books, printed-out lectures, prasadam if possible, and just being a Krsna conscious friend.

How You can Participate:

We appeal to you to help this cause. Letters are coming in from inmates requesting literature on spirituality, yoga, devotion and Krsna consciousness. Vasudeva Krsna appeared in prison. After great suffering by Devaki and Vasudeva, He appeared in his four-armed form, to ease the suffering of the misguided jivas and to give them the highest path of love to direct them back home, back to Godhead.

You can share your experience and insights regarding personal and interpersonal skills relating to service and team-building. You can help to develop programs for helping individuals and groups, and you can take part in these programs.

Right now, we need the help of people who can make websites, help of any devotees who might know Bulgarian for translating small articles or whole books, contributions of Gurudeva's articles which are already translated into Russian with a very short description in English, contributions of any pictures of Srila Gurudeva by the Black Sea. After Gaura Purnima, we need book distributors willing to distribute books (esp. the upcoming 1st part of the Bulgarian Jaiva Dharma edition) in Bulgaria.
