Book distribution at Manila "BYSP First Sankirtan" by Jamuna Didi

May 31, 2010 - A group of devotees from Bhakti Yoga Society of the Philippines went to Manila to do some book distribution sankirtan.

The parties (from Makati, Malabon, Novaliches) rendezvoused at an area in front of a local university. After having all the parties involved present, we looked for a clear area to set up a book table, and after finding one, the girls with Mother Mitravinda's lead started to sing the mahamantra while the others set up.

As far as I could recall, it was my first time to actually distribute books. It was a totally new experience. I went with Mother Mitra (I didn't talk much I know. I just primarily carried the books for her lol).

Even though some friends were not able to come and I did not do well because my tongue was tied, overall I think it was fun success, a good start.
